I am a BACP-registered, integratively trained Counsellor and psychotherapist. Specialising in third-wave mindfulness-based cognitive therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT), with a Humanistic and Psychodynamic underpinning.
I reflect on the past but very much work in the NOW. I won’t stare at you blankly or nod repeatedly. I might even share a laugh or a sombre silence with you.
Maybe you’re pretty self-aware, but for some reason, you can’t seem to shift how you feel, act, or do?
Maybe you’ve never tried therapy before, and you feel stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of what’s next?
I’m creative, playful, and non-judgmental in my approach.
I have previously worked in both higher education, the arts, and design, in high-pressure and collaborative environments before moving into psychology and therapy.
I see myself as a facilitator and supporter, but will gently challenge people I work with in order to open them up to new ideas, ways of being.
I have a cat (but I love dogs too).
I work in collaboration with the people I engage with.
I balance practical behavioural and cognitive techniques (skills and tips you can actually use, re-writing or accepting our thoughts, behaviours, and actions)
withÂ
Exploratory, reflective, and personalised talking therapy approaches (I’m with you to work through it,  no matter how tough... at your pace).
